Biography of

Glendon M. Geikie


Glendon received his masters degree in clinical social work from Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, MA in 1972. In 1980 he also received a Certificate in Family Therapy from the same school. Since that time he has received formal training as a child therapist, a group therapist and training in solution focused therapy. He has practiced as a therapist for over 30 years, with a focus on children and families.

Most recently, Glendon has trained as a mediator with the Northeast Dispute Resolution Center and with international mediator, Kennth Cloke.

In addition to his clinical work, Glendon has worked as an administrator and general manager in mental health settings, consulted to numerous schools, state and private agencies, provided workshops on numerous mental health and everyday life issues, and facilitated family therapy training.
